SHOULD A PROVIGO STORE IN VERDUN KICK OUT A VETERAN SELLING POPPIES?

More than 325,000 Quebecers have fought in Canada’s wars.  Poppies remember this. Yet this week a Provigo store in Verdun gave the boot to a veteran selling poppies.  He had been selling them there for years and had done so again this year.  Store managers, tight lipped on the issue, must have decided he had reached his quota.  What is the quota when you are dealing with Canada’s war dead?  You can make your views known at the following telephone number.   514 – 383 – 3000

    I can recall an individual, some time ago,of the same ilk as the Provigo Manager, who did’t believe in our defending the King of England during the war.I retorted that we didn’t chase the Nazis out of England, we chased them out of France. Ouch.
