The president of the Quebec Treasury Board, Monique Jerome-Forget, said recently that the new French hospital might be delayed until 2013. That would mean the English one would also be delayed. Previously the government had said repeatedly both hospitals would be up and running by 2010. Inaction is driving up costs. Is the government waiting until after the next election so they can cater to the group that wants ONE big hospital? This hospital file has been open for 19 years. Isn’t it high time to put a shovel in the ground for both the promised hospitals?
SHOULD THE HOSPITALS BE BUILT NOW?
